I grew up on the same street with Raymond, Walker Drive.  Raymond lived in the house at the corner of Walker and Columbia Dr. two doors up from Judi Kyle and family.  Early on he had an interest in law enforcement.  While others played ball in the street, Raymond was listing to his police scanner and riding with local officers and learning passion.  He was a nice serious boy on a mission.

Raymond one of our fellow Avondale folks. He was employed by the DeKalb Sheriff's Office in about 1974-1975. Raymond had open heart surgery later in life, and suffered a terminal heart attack.

Raymond was a good freind.  He would come out to the Children's Home and pick us up for a cruse in his car.
