Mr. Larry Gordon (L.G.) Pruiett, age 58 of Newbom, formerly of Decatur, died May 28, 2001. Mr. Pruiett graduated from Avondale High School in 1961 and was a member of Sheet Metal Local #85. He also attended Shiloh Baptist Church in Newborn, GA. He is survived by children, David Lee Pruiett, Decatur, Mrs. Susan K. Nolan, Conyers; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elzie and Marie Pruiett, Newborn; brother, Mr. James M. (Jim) Pruiett, Newborn; grandchildren, Danielle Marie Pruiett, Jordan Nolan, Taylor Nolan, D.J. Pruiett. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 30, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. from Shiloh Baptist Church with remains placed in state at 1 :00 p.m. Rev. Danny Sorrells and Rev. Eugene Bess will officiate. Interment, Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening 7-9 p.m. J.C. Harwell & Son, Covington
