Bill Mider was a good man who loved W.C. Fields and John Lennon, a good round of golf and watching the Atlanta Braves. He was a strong man with strong convictions, a member Green Peace, involved with Habitat for Humanity.  He was proud of his service on the Smyrna Historical Society and Cemetery Committee and the Smyrna Housing Authority, his input and action on the Spring Road Project.  He was a kind and well liked man, productive and independent.  He died after a courageous battle with cancer.  He will be missed deeply.
