Comment: Best memory of AHS:  Mr. Cooper.  I'd always gone to Catholic schools before and I'd never seen anything like Mr. Cooper.  Most influential teacher was Miss Heers all though I didn't like her much and she almost failed me in typing, THANK HEAVENS she finally did teach me how to type as my first husband and I traveled around rather carelessly and knowing how to type got me many a job!  Best thing about Avondale?  Close to home.  Thing most proud of?  Finding an unusual small village in Northern New Mexico and having a very interesting and healthy life.
