After four years at Oglethorpe I went into the sale of copy machines. I was hired by Xerox in Atlanta for the Orlando Fl. branch. I met my future wife, Karen, at the apartment complex where we lived. After two years with Xerox I went into the sale of check writers and check signers as an independent contractor. We still live in the house we had built in 1973. It was on a dirt road at the time.

We have two grown daughters. One lives in Alpharetta GA. with her husband and two daughters. My other daughter is the "world traveler" She received her master degree in Human resources from the U. of Minnesota. She move to Las Vegas where she met her future husband. He is in the Air Force. After they were married they moved to Northern Italy. We were able to go over and spend two weeks with them in Italy. They then moved to Japan for two years. Then to Idaho where they have lived for two years. They now have two small children. In Jan. of 2012 they will be in Germany for a three year assignment. We plan to go for a visit.
