Patricia Hart “Patti” Witmer, 72, of Lake of the Woods passed away at Mary Washington Hospital on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015.
Patti was born on Feb. 4, 1943, to Charles Edgar and Hazel Hartman Hart in Salisbury, N.C. She received an associate’s degree from Brevard College in Brevard, N.C. Patti had lived in the Fredericksburg area since 1967. She married David B. Witmer IV in April of 2001 at Lake of the Woods. After retiring from Davenport and Company, Fredericksburg, she loved to travel, enjoyed nature and art and was an avid photographer.

Sara Katharine (Kitty) Keith, 57, passed away Friday, Nov. 17, 2000 following an extended illness. Sara was known as Kitty to family and friends, was born in Elizabethton, TN and has lived in Avondale Estates sense 1953. Kitty taught preschool children in Dekalb County and was most recently employed at the First Baptist Church of Decatur. She was known for her love of music and enjoyed singing in several choirs in the Atlanta area. Hubert (Bert) Floyd Lee, age 71 was called home to be with God sfter a long and courageoud battel with cancer. We will remember Bert as a kind, generous, caring man, who positively touched the lives of those around him.
Bert will be missed forever by the love of his life, confidant, and devoted wife Dian Brown. MARBUT, Daniel Daniel Phillip Marbut, age 66 of Winder, GA died May 20, 2008. He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Peggy Marbut and is survived by his children, Kevin and Christy Marbut, Jeff and Tammy Marbut all of Winder, Stephanie Marbut of Lilburn; grandchildren, Brett, Blake, Brady, Kyle and Nicholas.
